Dr R Raman Goud graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University TS, 1998. He has done his master degree from JNTUH, Hyderabad 2004 in Advanced Manufacturing Systems specialization. He has awarded doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad, 2015. He has 19 years of experience in teaching and 9 years in research. His area of research in sheet metal forming, Finite Element Analysis, composite materials, modelling and simulation. He has published more than 21 papers in international/national journals and conferences. He has guided 5 M.Tech students and Guiding 2 M.Tech students. Presently working as a Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering in this institution.

Dr. R. Raman Goud is holding the position of NAAC coordinator. He is also Served as a BOS Chairman for B Tech (Mech),M.Tech (DFM) and M Tech (TE) from 2015 to 2018.He is placement coordinator for ME department. He is head of Manufacturing stream in the department since 2015.He also in-charge of Machine Tools lab from 2006 to 2018.He had organized five workshops/FDP programs as convener. He is a fellow of Institute of Engineers (life member) and member of ASME.
