Dr. B Ch Nookaraju , Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Dean Admissions and NAAC Criteria-3 In-Charge, completed his PhD in Heat Transfer in Heat Pipes from JNTU Hyderabad. He completed his M.Tech. with specilisation, Thermal Sciences from National Institute of Technology Calicut Kerala and has over 18 years of academic and research experience in Indian universities. His Ph.D Pursuing on Thermal Performance of wicked Heat Pipes: Modeling, Simulation, analysis and optimization of Heat Pipes. Prior to M Tech, PhD, he had earned Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Sagi Rama Krishna Raju Engineering College, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
Dr. B Ch Nookaraju, research interests include Testing of thermal performance in Heat Pipes for various wick structures and working fluids, Simulations with ANSYS FLUENT in Heat Pipes and optimization of Heat Pipes using Response Surface methodology technique. Experimental, Analytical and Finite difference Investigations of various wick structures and working fluids in which he has 15 publications, in various journals and conferences. He is currently working on composite wicks up to 500 watts of Heat energy recovery in electronics Cooling Applications. Finding Temperature distributions, heat transfer coefficients for different heat inputs and inclination angles.
